Safeguarding Statement:

Collective Vision Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff, volunteers and visiting professionals to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups, including those relating to ethnicity, gender, transgender identity, age, disability, sexual orientation and religion.

All roles across the Trust carry a responsibility for safeguarding practice. Appointment to any position is subject to a rigorous pre-employment and induction process. This includes an enhanced DBS disclosure (with checks against the appropriate barred list where applicable), references from current and previous employers, health clearance, right to work in the UK, child disqualification checks, prohibition from teaching or management (where relevant), and online and social media checks. Applicants must also declare any unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands or warnings in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
